Baseball legend Derek Jeter is one of the best players ever to play for the New York Yankees. Jeter is one of the very few players in Major League Baseball history, who have played for a single team throughout their career. Recently, a report revealed that even before he had joined the Yankees team, a scout declared him as an MLB star and ‘a Yankee’.

There is no denying that not only for the Yankees, but Derek Jeter left his mark in baseball history. When Jeter retired from baseball in the 2014 season, the New York Yankees retired his jersey number to honor their club icon.
