When it comes to Major League Baseball, Alex”A-Rod” Rodriguez has arguably been the most popular name over the last decade. Last year, he came into the limelight once again when he bought the major stake of NBA side Minnesota Timberwolves.
And now, being a co-owner of the Timberwolves, A-Rod tried his luck at selling the tickets. But seems like it didn’t turn out well for the Yankees legend.

Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez fails as a salesman for the NBA side Minnesota Timberwolves

Notably, Alex “A-Rod” Rodriguez, along with the Wall-Mart CEO, Marc Lore, bought the NBA team Minnesota Timberwolves for a whopping $1.5 billion. However, A-Rod is not the controlling owner, as he and Marc Lore will need to buy another 40% of shares of the Timberwolves in 2023 to become the controlling owners of the basketball team.

Leaving this aside, recently, A-Rod became a salesperson for his NBA team. However, he was unable to sell a single ticket while his colleagues at the Timberwolves were celebrating their sales.

Though it was a promotional tactic by the Timberwolves and A-Rod, the Yankees star was terrible at his acting to sell tickets. Taking to their official Twitter handle, Minnesota Timberwolves shared the video of A-Rod. In which he calls the customers and tries to sell them the membership tickets.
