With the lockout still in effect, baseball action continues to elude us. That is of course nothing to say for baseball stars around the country. With sports action available on several other fronts, former New York Yankees player Alex Rodriguez made sure to catch some ongoing games over the weekend. And with several other sports stars there too, he might just have caught onto some serious bling from Floyd Mayweather too!

Superstar boxer, Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather attended the game on the weekend where he was spotted sporting an unusual amount of chains around his neck as he made his way to the arena. The game featured several celebrities and former athletes all enjoying the sporting action. Floyd Mayweather is one of the top earners in the sport of professional boxing and has made a considerable purse over his career in the sport. Perhaps it is time he showed some of it off too.

Alex Rodriguez meets with Floyd Mayweather

The former New York Yankee and newly minted business mogul sported an Instagram story with Mayweather while at the game appearing to pick up one of Floyd’s chains to pose for the picture. Also featured alongside both of them was NFL Star Antonio Brown, who all turned up in the FTX Arena to watch the home team, Miami Heat compete.

In the roundup that the broadcasters then carried out several other stars were spotted in the audience too.

However, none seemed to pose as much bling as Mayweather.

Mayweather is one of the most notable boxers of the 21st century. With the 45-year-old boasting an almost unreal 50-0 record in the game; he has even made a shout to be inducted as the greatest of all time. This would make Mayweather the wealthiest boxer of all time. It has been previously published as well that his career earnings gross well over $1.1 billion. His fights have been such events that just his mega events too have contributed in large part to his earnings. In fact, his two biggest fights alone have raked in $550 million. Reportedly, his fight with Manny Pacquiao bought him $250 million in 2015; while the Conor McGregor fight in 2018 bought him $300 million.

And when someone has earned as much over their career; can you really blame them if they flaunt some of their bling?
