Recently, during his first media address as a Red Sox player, Story also revealed that it is like a dream come true for him to play for the Red Sox. He also expressed his love for the team. He said that wearing the Red Sox jersey will be an honor for him while in the ballpark.

“A dream come true for me to play for an organization like Boston… A true privilege for me and my family,” said Trevor Story while interacting with the media. “They’ve already made us feel like we’re at home… It’s the most historic place in baseball. It’s really an honor to put on this jersey and play in that ballpark every night… This is a very very attractive place for me and that’s why I chose this.”
