Carlos Correa is probably the best shortstop in MLB. There is no doubt about that. Even in his free agency, many MLB sides tried their best to sign Correa. But the star shortstop ended up with the Minnesota Twins. Recently, MLB legend Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez too praised the Twins’ shortstop for his extraordinary talent.

A-Rod played for over 20 years in Major League Baseball, that too, as a shortstop. That is the primary reason A-Rod is so impressed with Correa. Chiefly, he knows what it takes to be the best shortstop in the league.

While playing for the New York Yankees, A-Rod dominated an era in MLB. Given his career records, Carlos Correa is also on the same track. At the age of 27, Correa is already a World Series winner. Considering his all-around display in the ballpark, Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez compared Correa with the NBA legend LeBron James.

Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez believes Carlos Correa is LeBron James of the NBA

Well, this is not the first time A-Rod has praised Carlos Correa. Even when Correa was playing for the Houston Astros, A-Rod has appreciated him on multiple occasions. Recently, a video is doing rounds on the internet. In the video, A-Rod compared Correa with the NBA legend LeBron James and called him a real deal.

“I mean this guy is simply LeBron James,” A-Rod said. “He is the base of what I mean by that is he’s a shortstop. He’s six with four, the main strong safety in NFL. He can play two-guard in NBA. And he is world-class in any field he is on. He is the best player. He is the strongest and fastest. America, Carlos Correa is a real deal.”

Notably, earlier this year, after getting linked with the teams like the New York Yankees and Chicago Cubs, Correa signed a short-term deal with the Minnesota Twins. Correa’s current deal with the Twins is worth a massive $105.3 million for three years. This contract also includes Correa to opt-out in the first two years, if he gets a better deal from a better team.

Now, with Correa by their side, do you think the Minnesota Twins stand any chance to win the division championship in the 2022 season?
