Moreover, their lives become more than theirs, and people and fans have equal interests in their lives. Martial arts icon Bruce Lee faced several such problems during his lifetime.

As Bruce Lee was a martial arts legend, people visualized him as a fierce fighter. However, his opinion was he can not fight everybody who is challenging him publically. In the book, ‘Bruce Lee- a life by Matthew Polly’, he mentioned an incident that made Lee terrified and anguished at the same time. Bruce Lee couldn’t control his anger?

Matthew Polly wrote this after research of a decade. He organized hundreds of interviews with his friends, family, and people he worked with to know his life in depth. And after gathering the details, he wrote the book in a way that reflected?Bruce?Lee’s life. While talking about ‘Fame and its Discontents’ in his book, Polly shared a terrifying anecdote from Lee’s life.

Polly wrote,?One afternoon a deranged stalker jumped over the wall of his Kowloon Tong mansion into his garden where Brandon and Shannon were playing. The guy screamed that he wanted to fight Lee Little Dragon. ?How good are you?? he shouted. ?Show me how good you are!?

He continued,?“Given that two of his friends, Jay Sebring and Sharon Tate, had recently been killed by the Manson gang, he was both terrified and infuriated. ‘This guy was invading my home, my own private home,’ Bruce angrily recalled. ‘I kicked him harder than I ever kicked anyone. I gave him my all.'”

Lee became paranoid about his family’s safety

After a gang killed his two friends, Lee used to be paranoid all the time. Especially when it was about his kids. Lee felt the urgency to protect his kids from everyone. He didn’t feel very safe in the surroundings and tried to save his children from any alien threat.?

His friends and his wife revealed he became extra-protective of his kids after such incidents. The 10-12 feet area around became the ultimate area one can roam without being doubted. But if someone crosses that distance and came closer, “was a real suspect and they had to watch out.“?
