“‘Wow, you’re so tall!’ It had been a while since I’d last seen him, and he’d suddenly shot up. Every time since then, I’ve had a strange fear whenever I see him again, and it feels a bit unreal. So I have a son, and he’s already this old. When he’s not with me, I’m relaxed to be all by myself, and I feel very young. But then I see him, and I become an old dad again,” the action-comedy actor wrote in his book.
Chan further added that he often thinks about the time when his son would marry and have kids of his own. Jackie Chan is horrified by the thought of becoming a grandfather one day. This fear of old age and death reached a point where Chan used to have nightmares about it.
