

Jackie Chan wanted to be a policeman, a boxer, a hired thug, and an FBI officer, all at once! He frequently talked about this lesser-known fact about him in his book Never Grow Up. While describing his desire to become something else, someone more interesting, Chan gave way to some horrific incidents. The martial artist-turned-actor depicted how a boy once frightened him with a bag of grenades! Not only that, two men even tried to attack him with swords while he was working as a fight director.

A bizarre incident once terrified Jackie Chan
While being thankful for his profession, the Vanguard actor implied how his famous personality helped him to know more about people. In his autobiography Never Grow Up, Chan shared a story where he was “fraught with anxiety”. While at a steak party, he accidentally met a boy whose, “hands were stuffed into a small bag he had slung around his neck”. When they looked at the boy, he glared back at them. Wheb someone from the group asked, ?Stop! What are you doing??, the boy replied, “Nothing.?

Eventually, the boy left the room without doing anything. As Chan wrote, “It turned out he?d meant to go into the next room but had kicked in the wrong door”. Of course, the party was over and they didn’t feel like finishing their food. Later, the Rush Hour actor guessed, “The kid probably had a hand grenade in his bag. That?s the best weapon for when you?re outnumbered.”?Definitely, that was not the only bizarre thing that had happened to him. He went on to share more such incidents in his book.

The saga of incidents never ends
When he was about to start his career as a successful actor, Chan’s father requested him to abstain from certain things. He advised, ?Don?t touch gambling, don?t touch drugs, and don?t touch secret societies”. However, seems like the latter came looking for him.

He went on to share how two men once visited his set with katana swords that scared Chan to death. When they knocked at the door to attack him, thankfully, Chan checked them at the peephole, which eventually, saved his life.
