Jackie Chan is a martial arts legend who needs no introduction. Chan’s expertise not only lies in martial arts but also covers acting and filmmaking. He is also known for his absurd stunts. Chan’s performance is unique, which has made his name a brand. He is also famous for having a lot of broken bones as his career was filled with accidents on set.

Jackie Chan may have acted in a lot of action movies, but as a person, he is very nonviolent. He even sometimes refers to his genre of movies as an ‘action comedy’. Although his gullible nature did bring him financial trouble sometimes.

Jackie Chan learned his lesson

The legendary martial artist easily believed in people. This didn’t go well for him early in his career. Because of his gullible nature, people easily deceived and scammed him.

?I?d been cheated out of larger sums than this (I?ve got more dollars than sense, remember), but I didn?t take those swindlers to court,? Chan said and continued, ?One time, someone cheated me out of $40 million, but when I see him around, we still say hello and have a chat.?

Chan was aware of his getting scammed several times, but he never chose to take them into custody. He sometimes still sees the same people around who scammed him, but he never took care of the situation for some reason.

?My colleagues asked me why I never sued him. When I dealt with that guy, I had dollar signs in my eyes and no head for business,? Jackie added, ?I barely knew the guy, but he told me he?d invest my money and earn big profits. I believed in him and got scammed. I should have known better.??

He realized that it was all his fault. If he had been careful, he would have never been scammed. He blamed himself for his loss.
