The New York City Marathon 2023 has now come to an end, and it was an ideal event full of mixed emotions. It was held on the 5th of November with elite runners and the local runners having the time of their lives and adding a new experience to their journals. The entire crowd had different feelings when it came to the finish line of the run. Not everyone here was here with the intention of grabbing the win. The 2023 Marathon was a blast to experience with various records and the runners giving commendable performances of their lives. There is no doubt that it is not an easy event to complete, but the passion of every runner made the entire run look so interesting. A page on Instagram posted a video of the people touching the finish line of the NYC Marathon and it was an absolute treat to the eye. The caption quite correctly got the mood reading, “No words can express the feelings at the finish line of the NYC Marathon.” Amid a fury of emotions in a crowd of 51,933 people, one caught the eyes for good reasons.

A man who completed the race, took this occasion to propose to his woman. There could be no better way of proposing a bond for a lifetime after completing a long Marathon together. The emotions were at their peak when the gentleman sat on his knees, overwhelming the girl with the proposal. The aura could make anybody emotional and awe at the occurrence. Apart from this, multiple others were seen feeling so many things all at once after reaching the finishing line of the run.

Emotions flow at the finish line of NYC Marathon 2023

Watching every participant run at the marathon gave the feeling of a successful event. However, the finish line had a surreal aura that is extremely pure and raw and will seldom be seen in public. Various people with various attributes crossed the finish line and expressed differently. It is a fulfilling experience to watch people go through so many emotions all at once.

People in wheelchairs were seen being proud of themselves, some were seen crossing the line with a snack in their hand, some hugging their partners, some with pride on their faces and some had tears in their eyes. Participants were exhausted, but their smiles and happy tears expressed something else. Just being a part of the race and being able to finish it on time is a great achievement for so many. It’s a different sentiment to watch people take the prizes, but it’s a different sensation to witness people running the Marathon just to gain an experience and have the best time of their lives.
