As per a recent Facebook post, a still of Cooper is doing rounds on the internet. Additionally, he has gained significant recognition from fans, on the account of his brave feat. The image featured the boy in a blood-stained t-shirt and with a caption, “Kid is a tank!! True hockey player!” It also briefly described the incident, further adding that he returned with three stitches to watch his team win. His heartwarming gesture has left fans pondering over the little guy’s future as an athlete.
Apart from applauding Cooper for his passion and loyalty to the game, few fans satirically compared this incident to NBA legend, Lebron James’s fingernail injury. “And, Lebron breaks a nail – gets carried off,” one wrote. While another hinted that the player would abandon the whole season itself.
Here are some of the reactions:
“He has a higher pain tolerance than NBA and soccer!!!!”
“I hope that kid got to go home with a signed stick and season tickets for Dad”
“That’s a hockey player!”
“Beast mode buddy !!! Atta be big guy. Clearly, went to the game with dad lol”
Moments like this is pretty common as far as the sport is concerned. And a similar incident took place in 2002. But it did not end on a happy note.
