As the first-ever World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold meeting in Asia, the Astana Indoor Meet is now at the Qazaqstan Athletics Sports Complex in Astana, Kazakhstan. This prestigious competition, accompanied by well-known Olympic athletes and the world record-holding Diamond League champion, provides a considerable USD$7000 reward for each discipline, with a noteworthy USD$3000 given to the victors.
According to a recent update from the venue, the hurdles event emerged as the winning highlight, setting a new record for the host nation. Together with solidifying its status as a strong host city for international athletics, this also happens to be a personal best. The Kazakh star-spangled athlete gave a US athlete a serious run for his money, both literally and figuratively.
