The Yankees’ top international signing
Arias is all set to become the Yankees’ biggest international signing since the current outfielder Jasson Dominguez in 2019. According to Sanchez, Arias is a good deal for the Yankees, as the shortstop is considered one of the most promising talents in baseball. Arias and Dominguez will make an exciting duo for the Yankees, as both of them will play their majors at approximately the same time.

Roderick Arias’ skills
As per MLB’s Jesse Sanchez, Arias is an above-average player, as he also has a strong arm. From his accurate throws to good footwork, Arias also possesses good bat-to-bat skills and strike zone awareness. He can be powerful from both sides of the plate as a switch hitter.
The Dominican Republic teen can consistently run the 60-yard dash in the time of just 6.5 seconds. Which is more than the average time. On the whole, Arias is an excellent prospect from both defensive and offensive. If he develops his skills, he will be a star in the coming years.
