Horse racing veteran Frankie Dettori is ending the year amid rumors of retirement and a well-earned vacation. He added a bit of glitz to his downtime a week ago when he met up with his ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!‘ friends at La Luna Beach Club. An avid sports spokesperson, Dettori made a bold statement to Racing Post stating that British racing would not be an appealing place for him to start their career today explaining, “I didn’t start like this.“

In the midst of “finding some common ground between retirement and continuing,“ Dettori is off to the forest and new locations. Fans and internet followers are now buzzing over another update regarding his recent overseas adventure.

Dettori enjoyed a change of scenery after leaving the jungle and traveling to the French snow-capped mountains. In an Instagram video that he posted to Instagram, he showed off a steep slope and finished the video with a 360-degree flip showing seated wife, Catherine. He accompanied the video with the narration, “Hey, everyone. From the heat of the jungle to the mountains of France. I think I prefer the mountains.” Further adding, “No rice and beans. I’ve eaten enough, haven’t I? What a beautiful day! Love you all.”
