Horse racing veteran Frankie Dettori is ending the year amid rumors of retirement and a well-earned vacation. He added a bit of glitz to his downtime a week ago when he met up with his ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!‘ friends at La Luna Beach Club. An avid sports spokesperson, Dettori made a bold statement to Racing Post stating that British racing would not be an appealing place for him to start their career today explaining, “I didn’t start like this.“

In the midst of “finding some common ground between retirement and continuing,“ Dettori is off to the forest and new locations. Fans and internet followers are now buzzing over another update regarding his recent overseas adventure.

Dettori enjoyed a change of scenery after leaving the jungle and traveling to the French snow-capped mountains. In an Instagram video that he posted to Instagram, he showed off a steep slope and finished the video with a 360-degree flip showing seated wife, Catherine. He accompanied the video with the narration, “Hey, everyone. From the heat of the jungle to the mountains of France. I think I prefer the mountains.” Further adding, “No rice and beans. I’ve eaten enough, haven’t I? What a beautiful day! Love you all.”

At the racetrack, Queen Camilla unveiled a statue of him as a befitting tribute. However, Dettori declared in October that he would not be retiring but would instead be moving to California and racing both domestically and internationally. Now, despite the Englishman’s over 3,300 wins, he has impressed the fans from all over the world with his latest escapades.

The fan-reacts over French adventure

Not long ago, Dettori strongly backed his nearing 40-years horse racing career saying, “I’ve still got the fire inside me that I want to do it a little bit more.” But its the impression for his adventures that has taken over the internet as a fan wrote, “Living the life!” praising his fun! There were also cheers for the snowy scenic background as one wrote, “Oh my gosh how picturesque enjoy xx,” while, another said, “Snow looks excellent.”

There were also compliments for his winter-shied gear, someone wrote, “This suits you like a racing helmet. (But we will always miss seeing you with your racing helmet.” A die-hard fan said, “absolute nutcase, only franks would.” Finally, a well-wisher wrote, “Have a fantastic time,” as the real fans know, its just rejuvenation before his big return to the racing scene.
