However, as Nash endeavored to challenge around the far turn, Track Phantom effortlessly repelled any threats, entering the stretch with a commanding lead. The champion offspring of Gun Runner then surged ahead, leaving Nash to mount a determined effort for a second-place finish. Trainer Steve Asmussen, visibly pleased with the performance, commended Track Phantom’s combination of speed and rhythm. Furthermore, he highlighted the horse’s potential for further improvement.
