American spectators at home races have been having a blast. The G1 Pegasus World Cup took place at Gulfstream Park not long ago. A wide variety of horses competed in the Group 1 event, and the spectators were not let down by any of the races. Not only were all of the races exciting, but so were the Pegasus World Cup Invitational Stakes, which had a purse of $3 million.
After a thrilling race, National Treasure, winner of the 2023 Preakness Stakes, triumphed to claim the Pegasus World Cup. Nevertheless, Senor Buscador, the runner-up horse, lost the race by a neck length, so it wasn’t an easy victory. Despite placing second, the Todd Fincher-trained horse was invited to the G1 Saudi Cup due to his epic performance at Gulfstream Park. As soon as word got out, the horse’s legion of supporters took to social media to send their best wishes for his upcoming journey.
