The video shows a dramatic change of power position by the two horses on the run majorly highlighting Jacob and Bravemansgame’s action. The thoroughbred’s pace did slow up over the course. Showing a near-to-close dominant position followed by steady and consistent jumps. Reigning race champion, Protektorat, started strong but his early efforts exhausted him. As they reached the back straight of the last circle, Bravemansgame, overtook and eventually won the race.
During the third-to-last obstacle, Daryl Jacob put pressure on the runner-up, and it was evident that the eventual winner had taken the lead. This was Bravemansgame’s second appearance at the racecourse having won on the Betfair Chase in 2021.
