The hurdle race at Chepstow Racecourse was held in cloudy conditions today. Four horses entered the 2m 11y Class 3 hurdle competition, but only three ran in the race. The race card order indicated that Authorized Speed didn’t participate in the run for unknown reasons. However, the race was still conducted as Issuing Authority, Zambezi Fix, and Midnight Ginger were in the competition. The race started, and there were 12 hurdles to be cleared throughout the racecourse. Zambezi Fix and Issuing Authority were moving away from Midnight Ginger as the horses jumped the hurdles. However, the tables turned in the last two hurdles for the 8-year-old chestnut mare, who was slipping behind.
