“Yesterday was a nightmare that no owner, trainer or horse lover should ever have to endure.“, penned an evidently emotional Eddie. In a subsequent post, the trainer also mentioned that caring for the racehorses is not easy making such losses all the more impactful. “So much hard work and thoughtfulness goes into taking care of these horses and the loss is tragic.“, said Kenneally.
However, he also urged the fans to rally behind the survivors instead of being swamped with emotions for the moment, “Please keep pulling for the four horses that miraculously made it out and are fighting at the clinic. Thank you again for the support.” Considering what happened last night, fans can only speculate what’s going through Eddie’s mind right now.
