The British Flat Racing Champion bid adieu to British equestrian arenas last year. But prior to riding winners in the United States, the 53-year-old enjoyed some time on the popular Australian TV show I’m a Celebrity.
Bringing back the winning memories from the famed Santa Anita Park, Dettori is now determined to conquer American horse racing. But as he does so, his British admirers back home are already missing him.
Dettori extrapolates his British wins’ recipes for success on fertile US plains

In the latest Instagram post, Frankie Dettori posted a joyous image after winning a race at the Santa Anita Park. “Back to more familiar action”, read his caption as he jumped off the horse in victory celebrations. Dettori is making the big maneuvers in the United States and is tied for the third most wins among jockeys, with Juan Hernandez leading the charts by 9 victories.

“All in all it was a great day“, the British equestrian great expressed after riding 3 winners on Friday’s three-card. Entering the 36th year of his career, Dettori won the opener aboard Doncic by a nose. Despite witnessing disappointment in the second race, he won the next two races aboard Ze’bul and Virat, respectively. The ride atop Virat was the most eye-pleasing, with Dettori pulling the trigger in the last moments to win by 1 3/4 lengths. Seeing the champ reign on American soil, people back home were left nostalgic by Dettori’s age-old heroics.

“Missing you“ were the words ringing in the comment section of the Frankie Dettori. “Missing you here Frankie #Teamfrankie“, wrote one fan expressing her love for the legend. While the nostalgia crept in, fans were equally eager to find ways to continue watching Dettori’s rides. “Miss you Frankie, how can I continue to follow Frankie, when he rides, egg.
