The 2023 season has witnessed multiple stellar horse racing performances, so why shouldn’t its end be the same? Just like the entire season, this year is marking its end with some commendable performances. The Japanese jockey Yutaka Take has made it possible with his extraordinary feat in the Arima Kinen. 

Arima Kinen is a Grade 1 flat horse race in Japan. This is open to thoroughbreds who are three years old and older. This race is also considered to be the world’s largest race, keeping its turnover in consideration. Take gave a show to remember by defending his title for the fourth time in a row, and how.

Yutaka Take excels in one of the biggest horse racing events

Yutaka Take is one of the legendary names of the horse racing world of Japan. He started riding in 1987 and ever since then has secured multiple wins in his career. He has beautifully proved his worth yet again at the G1 Arima Kinen after holding his ground and defending his title gracefully for the fourth time. The World Horse Racing has shared an appreciation post for the same on their X account.

They shared a video on their X account, which showcased the entire video of the race. In the video, Take is seen covering up the major gap and galloping towards the win, beating every other contender. He crossed the finish line aboard Do Deuce. The caption to the post carried, “Legendary rider Yutaka Take landed his fourth victory in the world’s biggest race aboard DO DEUCE!” 

They further added, “He’s now won across the last four decades”. The duo of Do Deuce and Yutaka Take nabbed this win by covering meters in 2 minutes, and 30.9 seconds at the Nakayama Racecourse. This was one of the fight to the finish, landslide victory races for Take as Do Deuce as they caught pace at the final turn and gave a neck-to-neck competition to the leading contender before securing the win. Take couldn’t stop expressing himself after the victory.

Yutaka Take talks about his fourth consecutive win

Yutaka Take increased his career wins to 81 after clinching this win. Along with his hard work, his 4-year-old colt, Do Deuce was equally responsible for this outstanding horse racing triumph. Take expressed, I’ve been blessed with wonderful horses in the past, and I really am happy I could take on the Arima Kinen with this famous horse in Do Deuce”.

After Take was Stars on Earth in the second place and in the third position was Titleholder, leaving Justin Palace to stand in the fourth. Competing with these stellar horses was a tough one. On this, Take said, “I sensed his condition was really good and was intent on showing off his strength, keeping it slow during the first half before betting on his strong finish”Take somehow managed to keep his colt patient and dominated the race beautifully.
