According to the Thoroughbred Daily News, the Irish jockey based in the United Kingdom, Oisin Murphy, secured two massive victories as he debuted in the Indian Classic in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He shared, “Both my rides won, and I really enjoyed the experience in Mumbai. The track here is excellent, and the people have been incredibly hospitable and made me really welcome.”

Abode Chamonix, Oisin Murphy claimed victory in the R. J. Kolah Trophy. And his inning streak did not end there! Following this incredible win, he secured victory at the Trilegal Indian 1000 Guineas abode Jendayi. With the formidable Democracy in second place and Ameerah in third, Jendayi, the Pesi Shroff-trained filly, took first place and secured a podium win with a blitzing speed in the last 100 meters of the track.

Both the Indian horses Chamonix and Jendayi were trained by Pesi Shroff, who became the most successful trainer with these wins, tallying his total to a whopping 30 Indian Classics and surpassing the iconic Rashid Byramji. Speaking about his plans for Racing.com before his Indian debut, he said, “I certainly think it’s worth exploring and getting to know some of the main people connected to horse racing down there.”

Oisin Murphy’s recent success also seems to draw similar comparisons to Richard Hughes, who also rode champions trained under Pesi Shroff and secured victories in both the Indian 1000 and 2000 Guineas in 2009. Following his win,
