Santa Anita Classic Meet Opening Day features 6 High Stakes Races

The official X handle, @TVG, which recognizes itself as the #1 Wagering Website in the USA, revealed the six graded stakes for opening day races at Santa Anita. The six-graded stakes race includes the following: The $300,000 Malibu Stakes (G1), the $300,000 La Brea Stakes (G1), and the $300,000 American Oaks (G1) are part of it. It also includes the $200,000 San Antonio Stakes (G2), the $200,000 San Gabriel Stakes (G2), and the $200,000 San Mathis Mile (G2). There are three Grade 1 and three Grade 2 stakes.

With this Classic Meet, Santa Anita has officially kicked off its 89th anniversary year. It will altogether include 49 days of live Thoroughbred racing. The event is scheduled between December 26, and will finally culminate on April 8. It will then be followed by 12 days of break, after which Santa Anita will be hosting the Hollywood Meet.
