After three eye-catching rides, Jockey Frankie Dettori galloped his way to score a third in the standings at the Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. His 36th professional season in the saddle marked the 53-year-old’s unleashed win that stole the show.
Astonished by the horse’s exemplary performance, Frankie Dettori stated to the Paulick Report on the following morning of his win, “I was thinking if I went 1-for-4 that would be good. But to go 3-for-4, that was fantastic.” Trained by Mark Glatt, the horse ‘Tiger Horn’ he rode facilitated an incandescent triumph, according to the 3-time British flat racing champion.

“In the first, I had a good post in No. 1 and then got stopped for room a little bit. But he finished with great style. I thought the 1-5 shot (Ze’bul) should win, but he made hard work of it. Dan’s horse flew in the last, which surprised me because it looked like a very competitive race”, quotes Frankie Dettori, who has had a record of acing up a double triumph at the Ascot on King of Steel in the Champion Stakes at the ‘Magnificent Seven’ event.
Offering a panoramic view of the horse race from the jockey’s side, as seen in the source video above, Frankie Dettori declared, “I had never ridden the horse, but he seemed very sensible. I saw there were three horses inside me determined to make the lead, so I asked him to slow down, and he did. That was the winning move. I let the speed in front of me collapse and then came flying.”
Fans freak out seeing the jockey’s view of gallop
