He has had an eventful 2023 and is looking to continue that streak the coming year as well. Frankie Dettori might have announced his retirement in early 2023, but he didn’t stop there. He still has wishes to make his final mark before the season ends, and not just this, his passion for the sport is prominent every time he gets on the field with his horses. In the end, he sportingly jumps up from his horse, which portrays the energy and his love for the sport. The caption to this post carried, “Is he really even retired?” thus still showing us that adulation and love still knock on his door at 53.

Even though a lot of retirement speculation is making rounds on the internet, Frankie Dettori has a plan of his own. He already has his 2024 plans laid out for himself.

He expressed, “I’ve still got the fire inside me that I want to do it a little bit more”. He has had commendable Breeders Cup wins during the season end, but it doesn’t satisfy the equestrian. He wishes to charter frontiers in the US circuit next year.

Frankie Dettori also stated, “Ten months ago, I announced my retirement, I thought that would give me plenty of time to say my farewells and then I headed to California”. Not just this, exploring the Dubai and Saudi Circuit is also on his list. He confessed that visiting these circuits would excite him the most, as he hadn’t done this prior. However, no matter what happens with the enthusiasm Dettori has, it’s not that easy for his admirers to accept his retirement.
