The horse racing community goes beyond to bring exuberance and entertainment to their calendars. Racing, fashion, and culture are brought together in celebration of prestigious occasions. Framing the list for decades is Australia’s much-anticipated Caulfield Cup Carnival. Adorning millions worth of races, socializing, and glistening entertainment, the event this year also welcomed charitable contributions.

Over a month and a half, the Caulfield Cup hosted its carnival inviting festivities. The Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) stepped in this year for a ‘pin and win’ charitable event yet again. The efforts poured in and yielded successful results and loving praises.

Earlier this year, the Melbourne Racing Club announced that Pinchapoo would be this year’s MRC Foundation partner for the Caufield Cup Carnival. The event named ‘Pin and Win’ gave out two pins on offer — the traditional Caulfield Cup and a limited edition Heroes of the Heath Might And Power. The profits of the same were to be directed towards Pinchapoo. Having raised 32,281.25 USD, the organization penned a gratitude note for MRC. HUGE love to @MelbRacingClub for having us as charity partners for this years Pin & Win campaign!” the X post read.

Following along, in response to the tweet, the MRC reciprocated in admiration of the cause. “The pleasure was all ours, @pinchapoo_aus. A fantastic result for a fantastic cause,” the club exclaimed, and rightfully so. The Pinchapoo, in a ‘world’s first’ segment, works to provide personal hygiene essentials to those at a disadvantage. As per the site, Pinchapoo has redistributed more than 11 Million products since its start and continues to do so.

With the numbers that the horse racing community holds, in prizes and people alike, the act reigns superior in drawing impact. However, to the excitement of many, MRC wasn’t the only club to contribute well to the community. The Victoria Racing Club did not hold back in lending in announcing its gleaming presence.

A new record for VRC

In the wake of the Melbourne Cup, VRC hosts a similar carnival every year to build up engagement. For this year’s Pin and Win, the organization raised 372541.36 USD for charity partner Australian Childhood Foundation. The fundraiser has been an annual event since 1995 and continues to persist yet. Through the years, VRC has raised over 5 Million USD reaching its peak this year. “We are very proud not only to break the fundraising record this year but more importantly to see these funds help change the lives of children all over Australia who need support,” the charity partner stated.
