Named as one of America’s best racehorse trainers, he has a winning strike of 26% this year. Which not only adds vocal to his mastery but also marks his perseverance. His excellence at training the winning horses has a long saga of outperforming fellow horses in the race. He was hit with a shade of sadness as his trained horse lost the race and ended up in dismay.
The unfortunate loss for Tamara
Despite carrying the hopes of many, the recent Juvenile Fillies race was no exception. Tamara, a promising filly, faced an unfortunate defeat in this race. Earlier, she was considered as one of the probable for the victory but only stood seventh after the end of the race. She holds the tag of the best 2-year-old filly in horse racing. Tamara was also unimpressive during the pre-race workout session.
Later it was found out that she had a small fracture in her spine bone and was suggested some time off the race. Tamara entered the race with high expectations and the hopes of many riding on her. She was up against ‘Just F Y I’, a horse trained by Bill Mott for breeder-owner George Krikorian. Just F Y I has been on a winning spree of three undefeated starts. Her mother, Justify, was already a horse racing champion in her days, winning the 2018 Triple Crown.
