Each year, the world of horse racing witnesses new champions emerge who leave a mark on the sport. Honoring these human and equine champions of Thoroughbred racing, the Eclipse Awards were created in 1971 after the 18th-century British racehorse and stud, Eclipse. Since then, the popularity of the event has grown significantly, becoming a widely viewed ceremony in the sport.
As the 53rd annual Eclipse Awards are soon approaching, the anticipation has reached its zenith, and now, to further fuel excitement, the iconic Horse Racing Association has just announced a unique social media campaign ahead of the ceremony.

The National Thoroughbred Racing Association (NTRA) recently announced a cool social media campaign called #LoveOfTheHorse, leading up to the 53rd annual Eclipse Awards. The idea is inspired by a famous quote from Winston Churchill that says, “There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.” For the campaign, the association has encouraged horse racing fans to share photos displaying their love for the beautiful creatures using the hashtags “#LoveOfTheHorse” and “#EclipseAwards”.
And that’s not all. NTRA will share many fan photos on their social media accounts, and a few lucky participants may even have their photos featured during the live Eclipse Awards ceremony on FanDuel TV. This fun campaign has now fueled the excitement even further as the 53 Eclipse Awards will soon commence.
