Shaun White’s training regimen
White has been into snowboarding since the young age of 6. He made his debut with the 200o Winter X Games and has been winning medals ever since. In the 2006 Winter Olympics, he won the Gold Medal and defended his title in 2010.
However, during the 2014 Sochi Olympics, he could not make it to a medal and was disappointed. It was then that he decided to change his training regimen.
White was eyeing a medal at Pyeongchang in 2018 and wanted to win it badly. He reconfigured his entire training regimen of snowboarding in winter and skating and surfing in summer.

The athlete hired a personal trainer for himself and trained day and night with only one goal in his mind. He would train consecutively for two days and only then take a rest. This helped White really get that extra edge over his competitors.
All of this paid off when Shaun White was donned with the Gold Medal at Pyeongchang Winter Olympics 2018. There were a lot of apprehensions regarding his performance, but he proved everyone wrong and just went for that Gold.
White is one of the athletes to look out for in the upcoming Winter Olympics which will be held in Beijing. This will be his 5th Olympics, and White has his eyes set on the Gold medal once again!
