However, amidst the cacophony, Jade Carey has emerged as a true leader with her consistent performance throughout the games and is also eyeing Olympic glory later this year. As the Beavs triumphed over Stanford yesterday night, it once again proved to be Carey’s night.

With three event titles and the highest all-around score, Carey achieved a personal milestone that is most likely to go down in the history books on the OSU campus. Thanks to her impressive display of skills in each rotation, Carey walked away from the Gill Coliseum with the 100th title win of her career at Oregon. Naturally, her fans couldn’t be happier to see the athlete shine.

Jade Carey shines bright on OSU’s big night

Last night, Jade Carey won three event titles in the uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercise, while also recording the highest all-around scores of the match. With her winning performances, Carey now sits atop 101 collegiate title wins with four meets still waiting to be played in the regular season. To commemorate her milestone feat, the official Oregon State Gymnastics account shared a video on Instagram to highlight Jade’s best moments from her already illustrious career.

Captioned, “AND COUNTING,” the post is the perfect collage of events that mark Jade’s most glorious moments as a Beavs gymnast. “With FOUR event titles today, Jade Carey has officially surpassed 100 in her career!” elaborates another post by the same account, and it’s pretty evident that like their fans, the OSU athletes are equally impressed by Carey’s remarkable feat.

While Jade dished out several special moments, her teammates did more than their part to help the Beavs record their second 197 points of the season. The OSU athletes won the match 197.100 to Stanford’s 196.600 in front of over 5,000 attendees who were all enthralled by Carey’s consistently high-flying action.
