The buzz created by LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne is gaining momentum as she dominates the NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) sector with an impressive $4.2 million in profits per year. Known for her vibrant social media presence and successful brand partnerships, Dunne is ready to raise her position and LSU’s reputation as a winning team in NIL to completely new heights.
On the other hand, Forbes, besides the Top Creators chart where the winners of Dunne’s kind are appreciated, at the end of her college, will give a clench that Dunne is a legend here and raised the bar for LSU’s performance both in sports and other virtual spheres.

Olivia Dunne is making waves on both the gymnastics mat and the world rankings, such as the Forbes Creators list and the 30 under 30 list. With all the achievements, Livvy Dunne is taking Louisiana State University to new heights. Dunne has Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deals of $4.2 million, making her a top-earning female college athlete—as per On3’s Women’s NIL valuations. Do you know a fact?
Dunne’s earnings are way ahead of fellow LSU Lady Tiger Flau’jae Johnson ($1.5 million), and she ranks second among female athletes. But with that being said, Dunne is facing competition as the Forbes Top creates list-making shifts. If we talk about the teams, for the month, the Dallas Cowboys are on top with a $10.1 billion value as a team and have become the first to cross the 11-figure mark.
LSU Sports took to their Instagram and posted a picture that shows five LSU student-athletes recognized in the last two years by Forbes—30 Under 30. The picture shows Olivia Dunne as the top creator in 2023, 2024, and 30 under 30 in 2024. Whereas others are Sha’Carri Richardson, Angel Reese, Flau’jae Johnson, and Mondo Duplantis. The post caption? It reads, “Why not LSU?” With five top athletes out of 30, it is a huge number, right?

As far as NIL earnings are concerned, apart from Olivia Dunne, a major player of football who makes a significant place in NIL rankings, Travis Hunter of the Colorado Buffaloes and Heisman Trophy favorite, who took the no. 3 spot in On3’s NIL rankings with $4.7 million annually. Meanwhile, the Texas Longhorns’ Arch Manning has ranked no. 2 with $5.3 million annually. The question arises: Who topped the NIL rankings?
American football quarterback Shedeur Sanders got first ranking with $6.2 million NIL earnings in a year. So, he is the top-ranked overall, and in women, Olivia Dunne ranked first. As the 2025 season approaches, Olivia Dunne and her coach have a message for opponents.
“We will not be the hunted”—Olivia Dunne and LSU’s head coach send a clear warning
Apart from the NIL earnings and getting into Forbes’ top creator’s list, Olivia Dunne is all geared up for her 2025 season. 2024 has been a great year for LSU, as they have made remarkable achievements, one being the gymnastics school team, which made history—crowned as NCAA National team champion, and it was the first for the Tigers.
As the season approached, Dunne and LSU Tigers’ coach Jay Clarke gave a stern warning to rivals. In an LSU Plus interview, he said, “We will not be hunted. We will remain in an attitude of hunting. That was last year’s team; this is a different team. And I’ve told them, ‘This title doesn’t belong to this year’s team.’. And that’s going to be our attitude going forward.”

He also stated, “The preseason poll came out; for whatever it’s worth, it ain’t worth a whole lot, but I’m glad we weren’t number one; we’re number two. And that means our colleagues and people around us think that there’s somebody better than us; we want that. We want to stay in an attitude of chasing and pursuing. And so, that’s going to be our identity. If it’s not, then that means we’re complacent. We’re not going to get caught looking over our shoulders. We’re going to chase it down, year over year.” They don’t want to be underdogs and would not be complacent about the 2024 victory.
2025 will be the final year for Olivia Dunne, and she wants to prove herself as an individual competitor. She said in a video, “I really enjoyed the dynamic of the team this year, and it all came together well. Winning the national championships was a great team accomplishment, but I feel like I have more to give as an individual competitor.” With her season best of 9.875 at the NCAA Fayetteville Regional.
