Jordan Bowers has emerged as one of the prominent stars in the NCAA gymnastics realm. Competing for Oklahoma, Bowers has cemented her place as the No.1 prospect of her team. And while she is enjoying a dream run at the moment, Bowers has had her share of thorns in her path of roses as well. The young gymnast has been fighting with back pain that keeps coming back. She also had to change her club gyms twice and worked up her floor routine from scratch mid-season to become a star. 

Bowers’ emergence to the top has brought her team and herself quite a lot of accolades. The 21-year-old has 4 gold medals to show off in the Junior Pan American Championships. Besides, her scintillating form has also worked wonders as Oklahoma clinched the NCAA title in consecutive seasons. Reflecting on how big an impact Bowers has on the team, her teammate, Danielle Sievers stated, “She’s irreplaceable to this team. Huge contributor in the gym, in and out of the gym she’s a great teammate, a great leader. Our team would not be the same without her and we’re really blessed and thankful to have her on our team.”

Who Is Jordan Bowers’ Fiancé? 

Raydel Gamboa and Jordan Bowers have been dating for quite some time now. The duo initially crossed paths as part of the same gymnastics team at their college. Soon, they developed a liking for each other and started dating in 2021. After almost 3 years of being in love with each other, the couple announced their engagement in 2024. Continuing their love story forward, both Bowers and Gamboa announced their marriage in 2025 via an Instagram post dated June 21, 2024. 

Enjoying a healthy relationship, Gamboa does not shy away from showing his love for Bowers publicly. Back on September 10, 2024, the Oklahoma men’s gymnast opened up about his feelings on the occasion of their 3 year anniversary. Gamboa wrote, “Happy 3 years anniversary!! Ever since I met you I knew you would be the one you have given me so much support and joy through our journey so far, and I just can’t wait for our next chapter together can’t wait for many more, and for next year. I love you endlessly.”

The duo has also shared a number of other posts on social media expressing their love for each other. Well, apart from getting lucky in his love life, Gamboa also has quite an impressive NCAA gymnastics career.

Raydel Gamboa has been impressing the gymnastics community from his early days. Competing in his high school days, Gamboa won the Men’s Developmental Program National Championships in 2021. Coming into the NCAA realm, Gamboa was named the All-American in the all-around division. He finished third with an impressive score of 83.398. He also earned the seventh spot on parallel bars and high bars with scores of 14.066 and 14.000, respectively. 

Coming into the second year, Gamboa further upped the ante by making some steady progress in the 2023 season. Bowers’ fiancé secured an individual even title along with a personal best on the high bar apparatus. Gamboa scored 13.650 versus the Air Force and Illinois back on January 28, 2023. Competing in three out of eleven Sooners’ meets, the promising gymnast also had his career-best figures on the Pommel Horse (13.800) in the same year. Coming back to their love story, renowned names from the gymnastics world came together to extend their best wishes to Bowers and Gamboa.

Back on March 24, 2024, Jordan Bowers dropped a major update about her life. Taking to her Instagram, the Oklahoma star announced her engagement with Raydel Gamboa. Posting pictures of Gamboa going down on his knees to propose, the gymnast wrote, “FOREVER, the easiest yes of my life… i cannot wait to spend the rest of my life with you! you make me the happiest in the world!” 

Soon, eminent personalities started to chime in with their best wishes. Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles stated, “Ahhhhhhhhhh!!!! I’m crying right now.” Next up, the poster kid for the Oregon Beavers and a 1x Olympic gold medalist, Jade Carey also expressed her excitement about the duo’s loving union. She wrote, “omg congratulations!!” And that was not all. Chipping in with her best wishes, the star teammate of Olivia Dunne, Haleigh Bryant stated, “congratttsssss,” followed by three heart emojis.
