Back with the Auburn Tigers, Suni Lee is enjoying life right now. She recently competed on the reality show ‘Dancing with the Stars’ becoming an absolute fan-favorite for her charismatic moves. However, she is back in Auburn to focus on her field of expertise, gymnastics.

Notably, her routines in the uneven bars contest are known for the degree of difficulty it carries. Regardless, with ease and excellence, Lee was practicing her signature routine at her college.

Suni Lee gets back to gymnastics

The talented gymnast performed her signature routine in her college that fetched her the bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. With her fellow gymnasts cheering her on from the sidelines, she jumped from the smaller bar to the bigger one perfectly, leaving the audience stunned. Undoubtedly, this routine is hard to perfect as it takes years of practice and hard work. Regardless, to the delight of her teammates, she displayed the moves to near perfection.

While performing, Suni connects well with her routines always, without having breaks to take rest. Her high-octane performance is incredible as she flips around between both bars. She recorded a score of 6.2, winning the bronze medal in the competition in Tokyo.

Dancing with the Stars

Soon after she competed in the Olympics, she wanted to take a break from gymnastics and pursue her other interests. However, not only did she participate in the show, ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ but also reached the semi-finals of the competition. Lee loved her time on the show as she put together a collection of great performances. Notably, she also spoke about the pressures she faced during recent times and how competing in the show helped her cool off.

“I put a lot of pressure on myself. But last week (when she received a perfect score) was a huge moment for me. And I’ve felt like I’ve just gained a lot of self-confidence in myself. Coming on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ has really helped me to learn just love myself, I guess, throughout the whole process,” said Lee.
