On the 10th of October, the NBC Olympics & Paralympics page on X shared a lively video of Simone Biles and Fred Richard sharing the floor. While many of the gymnastics moves may seem conquerable to the reigning champions, there proved to be some that didn’t fit the stance. In the presented post, Biles and Richard are seen copying the moves performed by the other; the title of which read, “Playing Copy with Simone Biles.”

The page shared the post captioning it, “Women’s gymnastics vs. men’s gymnastics featuring Simone Biles and Fred Richard.” The 26-year-old all-around champion opened the video performing a Tour Jete. Richard, who failed to put the move into action perfectly, challenged Biles to Flares. This move requires the performer to alternate balance the torso between either arm while swinging the legs beneath in continuous circles. Biles, who is known to grace every move, could not pull the move properly. Although she did well, Richard had the last laugh when it came to Flares. Following her attempt, the video captioned, “Not too shabby.”

The post further showed Biles brilliantly attempting the Japanese Handstand that has Richard saying, “Almost better than me.” The 19-year-old also tried his hand at Popa and Wolf Spin presented by Biles. Though the results were not perfect to the T, the video showed the exceptional skills honed by the two gymnasts who stand worthy of their titles.
