The Biles family had every reason to deck up their house and celebrate the 2024 holiday season in full swing. After all, Simone Biles had achieved the unthinkable in Paris! Also back home, she kept that momentum going with her month-long gymnastics gala, aka the wildly successful Gold Over America Tour. But there’s more news on the way that would make this Christmas merrier for the Biles clan!
Simone Biles is known to share a loving relationship with her niece, Ronni. So much so that the little one often steals the spotlight by recreating her aunt’s iconic leotard looks and trying out her flips in the gym. But, Ronni may no longer be the youngest Biles superfan anymore! Yes, a new member is on the way, arriving in June 2025, and with great joy for the Biles clan!

Simone Biles’ brother, Ron Biles, and his wife Sammi took to their Instagram recently to share the beginning of a heartwarming chapter, and it’s got everyone buzzing with joy! “GOD IS GOOD!!! I’m so grateful, blessed, and excited to share with everyone….WE’RE PREGNANT!!,” captioned the ecstatic parents-to-be, as they dropped the big news that they’re expecting their second child after Ronni, soon!
Truly, gratitude was the mood of the hour! With a carousel of beautiful images, including the baby’s sonography scan that read— ‘We share your joy,‘— Ron and Sammi made the announcement: “We are expecting our new family addition in June 2025.” Naturally, the two admitted they were ‘over the moon excited and so thankful’, as they felt God had answered all their prayers.

And the cherry on top was Ron giving his wife a loving shoutout. He wrote, “I love you Sammi and I’m so happy to embark on this next chapter with you. Thanks again for keeping the faith, staying strong, enduring all you have/do, and remaining committed to growing our family. I’m sincerely so grateful, thankful, and truly blessed to have you as my wife.”

Well, Simone Biles’ sister-in-law Sammi’s road to motherhood has not been the easiest. She’s admittedly had multiple losses before, one as far along as the second trimester. In fact, just around the beginning of the year, Sammi had voiced a tragic update, of the couple losing 3 of Ronni’s siblings to miscarriages in the past 4 years. While such agonizing experiences could have easily shattered anybody, Sammi’s clearly shown incredible willpower.
Sammi Biles’s prayers are answered
2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. These were all the years that Sammi Biles tried to bear a child but struggled with the unfortunate reality of infertility. She questioned, “I don’t understand why something is given only to be taken away?” But, her belief was stalwart, “God does and I have to trust His plan for us and our family.”

And that moment has finally arrived, leading her to thank God for the sweetest surprise. Nonetheless, Sammi had to go down the IVF route, which in itself was a mighty challenge. “IVF is treacherous. it’s battle. it’s war. it’s expensive. it tests your marriage. it’s time-consuming. it’s meticulous. it tests your sanity,’ were her words in January. And well, even this time around, Simone Biles’ sister-in-law agrees that she’s sobbed endlessly during her pregnancy, more than she has for any other.
However, the mom-to-be continues to be resilient. Whereas, on the other hand, little Ronni is buzzing with excitement too! She’s already wishing for a baby sister and playfully landing kisses on her mom’s belly. Who knows? If Ronni’s wish comes true, the Biles family might just be adding another future gymnastics star—after all, the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. What are your thoughts? Let us know below!
