Gymnast Simone Biles is a well-known name in the history of the Olympics. Biles won five medals in the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. She has medals for Floor, Vault, Beam, and all-around competitions.

In an old interview on the show 60 Minutes, Simone Biles says being a gymnast is difficult. In between the conversations, the host questioned her about what piece of media had the biggest influence on her life. Then Simone opened up about her concern for other athletes. 

Her Fiance gave her a reality check on the life of an athlete. She said, “My boyfriend was showing me like these 30 for 30s, how athletes go and get a heap of money and then lose it and blow it. that really surprised me at how many athletes just lose it like that.”

She said, “It’s a different language for me completely, like if I started speaking gymnastics to you, you would have no idea. So when people speak money to me, I am like, tell me if I am broke or not.”
