After incredible performances from numerous contestants over the past three months, Dancing with the Stars Season 33 finally came to an end on Tuesday. Fan favorites Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold finished fourth in the race despite getting a perfect 10 for their performance in the finals. This is because the show’s winner gets decided by the votes of the viewers who felt that they weren’t as consistent as Joey Graziadei, who became the winner of the show.
But, at the end of the day, the fact that the gymnast made it to the finals despite having no dancing background is an achievement in itself. Plus, sometimes the relationships one builds over the course of a competition might just be more important than the results themselves. This is evident when one sees Stephen’s equation with his choreographer, Rylee Arnold. Both of them seem to have forged a great bond, which will last even after the show.
Now, it seems that Stephen Nedoroscik has also built a great relationship with his competitors in the show. On November 28th, Chandler Kinney, who finished third on the show, uploaded a picture with all the celebrity contestants who made the final. This included Stephen, Ilona Maher, Joey Graziadei, and Danny Amendeola.

Chandler captioned the post, saying, “‘Thankful’ doesn’t even begin to express how I feel about these last few months. There’s SO much that I can and will say, but for now, I just want to say thank you.” This attracted a lot of emotional comments from fans who hadn’t gotten over the season yet. Stephen also wrote in the comments, saying, “The best group.”
This felt like a declaration of the fact that this season of Dancing with the Stars was one of its most successful in recent history, and the contestants deserved the most credit for it. But it was great to see that all of them enjoyed each other’s company and might try to keep in touch even after the final ended.
Stephen Nedoroscik writes note to Rylee Arnold after DWTS final
It was not written in the stars for Stephen Nedoroscik to become the DWTS champion. Despite his immense efforts, which were quite visible to both fans and judges, the gymnast couldn’t really compete with the incredible talent of Joey Graziadei. But the gymnast really did come agonizingly close to winning the mirror ball. For this, credit has to be given to his choreographer, Rylee Arnold, who took an untrained and reluctant dancer and turned him into a skilled performer.

Stephen Nedoroscik was very grateful for this and thus wrote her a heartfelt note after the final on Instagram. He said, “The perfect way to end this unforgettable journey. I’m a Pommel Horse specialist. I had never danced, performed with emotion, or had to be delicate. Rylee, I feel so lucky to have had you by my side. Your positivity, kindness, and determination made every second of this experience worthwhile.” He then added, “Thank you for not only being the best dance partner but also an indispensable friend 🫶🏻.”
This was a very moving post for both the contestant and their fans, as they had gotten so used to seeing them on the stage. The fact that their last performance in the show ended up with them getting a perfect 30 was also such a huge deal, as it was a very happy ending to the story. Even without the mirror ball, Stephen Nedoroscik has won many hearts, and he can now return to gymnastics with his head held high.
