The wild card game week of the NFL season has ended, and the Green Bay Packers have subjugated it with grace by trouncing the Dallas Cowboys. With this, things were not just intense in the NFL world but also created a fissure in the gymnastics community. The gymnastics queen Simone Biles and some of her closest members were seen standing against each other.

They sparked up a challenge a week ahead of this game where Simone Biles’ coach Cecile Landi and her best friend Jordan Chiles sided with the Cowboys ditching Jonathan Owens’ team. However, with the Packers dominating with 48-32 it seems like things turned out in Biles’ favor and left her coach hurt after the win. Landi took to social media to showcase her disappointment after the triumph. 

Simone Biles’ coach accepts Packers’ superiority

The wild card week game between the Green Bay Packers and the Dallas Cowboys was a very anticipated one. However, one comprehending challenge that made heads turn was Simone Biles and her coach Cecile Landi. Rallying in support for the Cowboys like a true Texan, Landi shared an open challenge for the gymnastics queen on Instagram, stating, “Let’s go Cowboys”, and then adding a pun she intended while writing, “Sorry @simonebiles”. However, it seems in this challenge Simone got the better of her coach as after the Packers’ win, Cecile’s post says it all.

She took to her Instagram stories and stated, “Congrats @packers- They remembered how to play good football today!” Displaying her disappointment with the win, she further stated, “That game hurt. Well deserved win @simonebiles @jowens”. Biles re-posted this story on her Instagram account as well. However, this is just one-half of the story.

The gymnastics prodigies Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles have been each other’s confidants for a very long time now. Everyone is aware of the vital role that Biles played in the gymnastics journey of Chiles and Jordan never fails to recognize it as well. She was seen in a recent interview with Sports Seriously’s Mackenzie Salmon. Here she couldn’t stop thanking Simone Biles. Chiles gave a tribute to her best friend by saying, “She was my mentor then. She was my big sister and now she’s my ride and my best friend”. However, the NFL storm changed it all.
