“These few months have been nothing short of amazing. I’ve put my mind and body through it, trying to make sure I get these dances perfect. And I’m not stopping. I won an Olympic medal and now I’m coming for that mirror ball (trophy),” Stephen Nedoroscik had said after sealing his spot in the final of Dancing With The Stars. This Tuesday, November 26, Stephen will set out to grab that with his dance partner Rylee Arnold. But as they say, the journey is better than the destination. That is exactly what is striking Rylee at the moment.
“We are having so much fun together,” Rylee had said in a conversation with People last month. But that is set to end as the 33rd season concludes. The camaraderie on the stage or rehearsal room will go missing. After all she and Stephen have achieved throughout the season, Rylee can not stop being emotional, anticipating the void. On November 21, the Utah native shared several clips, framing herself in multiple shades.
The clips, as appeared on Arnold’s Snapchat stories, were from different hours of the day. In one clip, she was sitting on the floor of the rehearsal room of DWTS. It was the moment before engaging in freestyle dancing practice with Nedoroscik. However, in the shared clip, Rylee Arnold seems to have tears in her eyes. Revealing the reason, she said, “The week has been really fun and bittersweet.”

But in a moment, she tried to hide her face, conceding, “I’m gonna cry again. Stop.” Isn’t she finding it hard to settle with the emotions? Hold on though! Nedoroscik’s dancing colleague flaunts her mood in another clip shared in the Snapchat stories.
In another snippet, Rylee Arnold appeared slightly confused in putting her emotions into the words. She knows the happenings staged around her. But the multiple emotions have made her narrate things differently. She goes on to say, “Insane. I don’t know.”
She further added, “This week is just so crazy because it’s just, like, so many laughs and it’s just so crazy to realize that, but we’re having such a good week.” Meanwhile, Stephen Nedoroscik shows a thumb up to endorse her. But what about their rehearsal before the final performance? Arnold has shared a few more stories, capturing it.
In one such clip, the dancing duo appeared in the frame with others, practicing their freestyle dance moves. The scene looks to be from a full-scale practice as the side dancers dance to the tune, matching the vibe. Meanwhile, the choreographers are also hyped up, as they don’t give any loose moments. One snippet shows two choreographers explaining the dance move to Rylee and Stephen. Meanwhile, their performance in the semifinals gives their fans enough reason to put their money on them.
The pair remarkably pushed through Stephen’s shaky performance and a mishap with his glasses during the semifinal. In fact, despite a setback in the first performance of the day, they came back strongly for the second. For Tuesday’s show, each star performed two routines to styles they had not done yet, including one Latin-style dance and one ballroom-style dance. For their first dance, Stephen and Rylee danced a cha cha, and their second dance was a tango.
For their first dance of the night, Stephen and Rylee Arnold danced a cha cha to “Bailar” by Deorro ft. Elvis Crespo. The judges said the dance was not his strongest, criticizing his unsteady footwork. With that, it earned them a decent 25/30 score. “Here’s the best part — you have a second dance tonight. So come back tonight (in the) second dance and show us you deserve to be in those finals,” judge Derek Hough said. That is exactly what the duo did.
For their second dance, they danced a tango to “Sweet Disposition” by The Temper Trap. “Stephen has an advantage with the tango over the cha cha because he has insane upper body strength and that is so good for frame in dancing,” Arnold said. Indeed, that showed. For the first time this season, Nedoroscik opted to keep his glasses on for the dance. During the tango, Nedoroscik’s glasses became crooked and then fell off his face, but he didn’t stop during the dance to adjust them, which the judges praised, showering them with a score of 28.
Amid all these, for Rylee, the emotional tone rings loud. That’s how she is trying to live at the moment. But it is not the only time; she has shared something emotional based on their final performance.

Stephen Nedoroscik consoles Rylee Arnold as she gets into ‘waterworks’
On November 20, Rylee Arnold uploaded a few clips on TikTok. Those eventually displayed the same emotion—the mood—before saying the final goodbye to DWTS and team Arnold Pommel. The teenager appeared teary-eyed in these clips too as she said, “We just did our last heart-to-heart.” She also added, “I’m waterworks today.” In the meantime, tears rolled down her cheeks.
In the video, Rylee shared ”Heart-to-heart’s basically the interview we do after the show that’s shown in our package before the dance the next week. But man, last one…it’s been one heck of a journey.” Stephen Nedoroscik had been present in the scene, watching the emotional rundown. Arnold’s tears led him to console her. But Rylee was inconsolable as she added, “Stephen’s the best. We’re gonna work so hard for you this week, you guys. This freestyle is going to be insane.”

After the semi-finals, Rylee Arnold revealed a few more things about the bonding. In the post-dance interview, she commented, “He’s adding to my life, which is so awesome. It’s hard to find somebody that doesn’t like add in a bad way, but he adds in so many amazing ways. He releases so much, helps me through so much, and I’m just so grateful for him.”
But it is just four more days on the calendar to celebrate this bonding. Will there be any ultimate magic at the end? What do you think? Let us know below!
