This time again the 3-time Pan American Games gold medalist bestowed a very deep and thoughtful Instagram story to her social media fans. In the picture, there is a black-and-white view of the beach with a girl standing looking at the water.
However, it was not the picture that attracted the attention of the viewers. Rather the lengthy, personal caption etched to it. It emphasized the life-long dream of Nastia Liukin that she achieved at the age of 18.?She wrote, ?Life did not even exist in my mind past that moment and year,? referring to the Olympic gold she managed to achieve.
She elaborated on the overwhelming feeling that engulfed her when she was able to achieve this honor. Liukia said, ?Standing with a gold medal around my neck, listening to the national anthem playing ? A moment that I will forever remember and forever be proud of.”
Furthermore, she divulged the key lessons that she learned through her experiences. The American star mentioned, ?We will always be more than our greatest accomplishments and our biggest disappointments aka lessons (I don?t believe in failures).?

According to Nastia Liukin, the only thing that matters is the feeling of satisfaction of knowing that you?ve given your best. She added that the consistency in pushing herself every day makes her proud. Further, she reflected, ?A little smarter, a little stronger than I was the day before,? as her key goal.
Lastly, she concluded her post by pointing out, ” proud of myself for continuing to stay true to myself.” It is crucial as per Nastia ?because in this very social media-forward world. we live in today, some days it?s a little harder than others.? By winning the five medals in a single game, Luikin tied the record of US legendary gymnasts.
