Olympic gymnast, Shawn Johnson East has conquered the world of her discipline rather well. A gold and 3 silver in the Olympics represented the wonderful journey of the gymnastics icon. About three days ago, Shawn Jonhson welcomed her third child, to the world. The gymnast, having gone through three pregnancies revealed the sensitive procedures the journey upheld. From difficulties to her choices, Johnson gave her spectators a glimpse into delivery.
The gymnastics icon opens up pregnancy concerns

In her recent Instagram update, Shawn Johnson took an opportunity to interact with her fans through the “Ask me a question,” segment. Just out of pregnancy, the gymnast was flooded with questions on the newborn. One of the questions among tens of others read, “How was Bear’s birth compared to Drew and Jett?” Johnson started by saying, “Great. Third c-section was definitely the hardest but smoothest (if that’s possible HA).” However, she later revealed that it came with its complications. After having much of the scar tissue cut out, she admitted to being “sore and swollen.”
Johnson’s further narration entailed her choices on the medication. “I also refuse all pain meds haha (they make me SO sick and frankly after being addicted to Adderall it just scares me so I don’t even mess with it).” The gymnast stated that Adderall was something she was prescribed during her gymnastics phase to curb her appetite. It took her 7 years to fight off the medication and get back in control. Medications and pregnancy are prone to yield complications often.

Shawn Johnson reveals the journey through
Following her response to medications, Johnson was questioned if she did not use any pain meds at all during Bear’s birth. The gymnast was revealed to have been on some. “Good ol Tylenol and Motrin and obviously the spinal for surgery.” Further poured in the questions on the rash after C-section. “It’s the worst! Makes me want to rip every inch of skin off my body! It’s finally calming down after high-potency steroid ointment,” her reply read.

Though Johnson was unaware of the cause of the rash she guessed it to be a reaction to adhesive or drapes. Nonetheless, having experienced it three times, Shawn Johnson updates that she is now all well as the family adjusts to a new routine. Garnering a little knowledge could run long and well. And with Shawn Johnson’s 3-time experience, there is enough to incur.
