The Americans were introduced to Gymnastics in the late 1820s while the Federation Internationale Gymnastique was founded in 1881 to organize the event. The 1896 Olympic Games saw the starting stages of gymnastics being introduced to the world. </span>

There are three divisions of artistic gymnastics- artistic, rhythmic, and trampoline. During the prime season, Simone Biles trains for 42 hours per week. These 42 hours are divided into seven hours per day, six days a week. Simone Biles takes an off from her training on Sunday. Of the six training days, Biles trains twice a day for four days, including Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. She trains just once a day on Thursday and Saturday. Her morning training sessions start at 9 am and end at noon. Whereas, the time for the afternoon session is from 3 to 6 pm.
