Simone Biles on Twitter

Being late for your work, class, or any routine engagement is a nightmare for anybody. And Biles is no different. Just today Biles posted on her Twitter, saying,??I really just woke up thinking I was missing Saturday practice.?

This comes from the four-time Olympic champion after she announced her break from gymnastics in 2021. Right after pulling out of multiple events at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, Biles declared a hiatus. It has been almost a year since then, but it seems the morning panic of making it to practice hasn?t left her yet.

The living legend has spoken up multiple times about her issues with mental health. Her withdrawal from the Tokyo Olympics was a result of her catching the ?twisties?. It is a phenomenon that causes gymnasts to lose spatial awareness when they are in the air and can lead to serious injury.
