Simone Biles was the second fully sponsored athlete to sign a deal with Athleta. The first was track and field legend, Allyson Felix. Over the years, many other elite athletes have also turned to this company for their sponsorships. This is because Athleta fully focuses on bringing the best apparel for athletic women, and also it does not exploit them like many other big names.

Since she first signed the deal with Athleta, from then itself, Simone Biles has always wanted to come up with her own collection of clothes for Athleta. Finally, her dream came true in April 2022, when she launched the Biles x Athleta collection. This is not just another new variety of clothes, but the clothes have a very special feature about them.

The target customers for Biles’ new collection are girls aged 6-12. Biles has a particular idea behind this. She believes that this is the age when many girls feel vulnerable or insecure. Therefore, when they find these notes in the clothing that they will wear, it will motivate them to keep moving forward.

As an elite athlete, Simone is all too familiar with the feelings of stress, pressure, and nervousness. She knows the value of even little encouraging words in such tough times. Therefore, she decided to have them stitched into the clothing she designed.
