Simone Biles’ Boyfriend Jonathan Owens Reveals What She Instantly Liked About Him When They First Met

The relationship between Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens is one for the ages. The couple has been together since 2020 and they keep getting closer. Biles appears for Owens’ games while Owens supports Biles in her decision. Notably, he supported her decision to withdraw from the team gymnastics competition at Tokyo Olympics 2020.

They continue to post funny videos and adorable photographs alike on Instagram. What’s strange would be the fact that Owens did not know Biles before. It was her Instagram account that attracted his attention. However, Biles liked him being honest about the whole relationship.

The defensive back for the Houston Texans noticed her Instagram profile with over four million followers back then. After they met during the pandemic, their relationship grew to another level as both of them moved together. With the postponement of both major sporting events for both these athletes, they took time to know each other they hit it off from the start. But, Owens spoke about now knowing her until then.

“I didn’t know who she was. I just hadn’t heard of her, and when I told her that, that’s one of the things she liked,” said Owens.

He mentioned how their dogs hit it off the first time they met, and that made him happy. As Biles did not have college experience, he is taking up the mantle to show what it is all about. With Owens on her side, Biles looks happy while posting different training videos between each other. Their bond is near to perfection as they continue to learn each other’s footsteps.

“We ended up hanging out right before the pandemic. It was one of the few times in her life where everything was just shut off and she couldn’t do anything. So we used it to get to know each other—really get to know each other. It created our bond and made it stronger. Now I’m so thankful,” said Biles.

Owens starts his NFL career

After Covid-19 protocols left two of their safeties out, the Houston Texans called up Owens to play in their team. The Arizona Cardinals rejected him due to injury troubles, Owens worked hard to earn a contract with the Texans. Thus, Biles shared an Instagram post after her man made his debut.

The relationship between both these superstars is something to be admired. Ever since they started to date each other, they have been growing. Thus, Biles and Owens are going places and are influencing each other in their careers.
