On the mat or off it, unity is LSU gymnasts’ middle name! Last year, concluding four spectacular seasons at the University of Utah, Jillian Hoffman publicized her graduate transfer to Louisiana State. Joining the Tigers for 2024, she had said, “I knew I would be taken care of and accepted even before I stepped foot on campus.” And that stands true to this day. Following another major announcement, the girls donning purple and gold, including the internet sensation Olivia Dunne have showered Jillian with love.

After a wonderful spell, Jillian Hoffman’s gymnastics journey has finally drawn to a close. The gymnast recently took to her social media to reveal the news, after which her ‘new family,’ the LSU girls, bid her adieu with the kindest words.

Jillian Hoffman’s association with LSU has been brief but priceless. And one can decipher that from her exit note. Taking to her Instagram recently, Hoffman shared a joint post with LSU Gymnastics’ official page declaring the end of her journey. ‘Closing this chapter with a win in my heart💜,‘ wrote the experienced Tiger as she withdrew from the side, but not without thanking them for all the support, respect, and admiration.

Crammed with overwhelming emotions, Hoffman starts by thanking LSU for welcoming her with open arms. Returning with a year-long of unforgettable support and cherishable memories, the gymnast even shows tremendous gratitude towards her LSU family. Moreover, ‘I am so much more than just my sport‘ pens the senior, who also seems to have re-discovered her essence at LSU.

Jillian’s heartening words garnered an equally warm reaction from her team. Flooding the comment section underneath, her fellow LSU gymnasts had the most loving reactions. ‘Prouda ya❤️’ wrote Olivia Dunne, as she hailed the senior for her stellar career and time at LSU. Soon others also joined in.

LSU’s returner of the year, Kiya Johnson, was all heart as she typed ‘I LOVE YOU JILLY’ for the outgoing senior. What’s more, echoing her emotion, gymnast Ashley Cowan added, ‘I love you jilly bean!! Come visit soon nnn.’ The ace gymnast whose final routine sealed LSU’s spot as the 2024 National Champions, Aleah Finnegan wrote that she was ‘Sobbing😭’ and that she also loved her ‘jilly bean so much.’

Apparently, the nickname appears to be a definite favorite as Bryce Wilson was the third to express, ‘I LOVE YOU JILLY BEAN!!!’ And while Elena Arenas ‘couldn’t be more proud’ of Jillian, national champion Kailin Chio seconded her sentiment. Savannah Schoenherr also chimed in with her bit writing, ‘You are incredible Jill. Forever💜.’

Unquestionably, the LSU girls are a tight-knit crew. Not only have they struck gold in finding mates like each other, but they seem to have fueled their season with their thrilling performances riding on that camaraderie.

A memorable year for the LSU clan!

Not only Jillian Hoffman’s addition, but the 2024 season has been remarkable for the LSU team. The perfection-driven girls came out with flying colors, as they bagged the NCAA National Championship 2024 and were the well-deserving SEC champs this year. Also, with a 31-3 overall record, the LSU gymnastics team put up a brilliant show this season.

While the team performance was meritorious as a whole, some gymnasts of the Tigers camp particularly stood out. Haleigh Bryant has been on a roll, becoming the first LSU to score a perfect 10 in every discipline with her commendable form. Also, the Tigers showdown at the recent Core Hydration Classic added the cherry on the cake! To this end, LSU gymnast Konnor McClain clinched bronze and Kaliya Lincoln took home silver at the said event.

Hopefully, this winning streak will continue, and their amiable bonds thrive. The LSU family is setting a whole new standard with their on and off-mat support to each other.
