Stephen also shared his plans for life after his sporting career. “After that, I’m going to be an electrical engineer,” he said. Having graduated with an engineering degree from Penn State, he hopes to put it to use once he retires. However, that’s a long way off. For now, Stephen is content with enjoying the glory of his recent triumphs and aims to continue adding more achievements to his resume, such as an Olympic gold medal at the LA Games.

“I literally said it before 2024; I was like, no matter what happens, I’m going for 2028.
