Is Paul Skenes the ultimate supportive boyfriend, or is Olivia Dunne the real MVP in this duo?

Paul Skenes is a great MLB player, as he has established his name on the top after winning the Rookie of the Year award. However, the ideal baseball star is also a wonderful boyfriend to Olivia Dunne, as he has showered her with not only love but support for her gymnastics career, and vice versa. Both of them are made for each other, and it’s no surprise that they have always created a ton of moments together.

These moments also consist of numerous gifts that both of them keep stacking up for each other to showcase their love and beyond. During this time of the year, MLB is going through an off-season, and Skenes is having a lot of time to spend on his girlfriend, who, however, is preparing for her final NCAA gymnastics season. She’s surely busy with her training, but that hasn’t stopped Skenes from presenting himself with a gift for Dunne.

Apart from their growing sports careers, Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes have set a lot of examples for couples out there for being the ideal partners to each other in their respective journeys. The gymnast has been taking her training seriously but hasn’t forgotten about her boyfriend during these times. After her practice with LSU, she met with two people, as seen on her Instagram story, being the 2021 NCAA champion from LSU, Haleigh Bryant, and her boyfriend.

Skenes was present after Dunne’s training, and his appearance was no less than a gift to her. The gymnast adored both of them, as she wrote on the social media picture, stating, “So much (Goat) in one photo.” Both Bryant and Skenes were on Dunne’s big list, and it was just a note of appreciation from her to them. In the picture, while Bryant was wearing an eye-catching sweater with stripes on it and her leather pants, the MLB star had a pretty simple look, as he just wore an off-white shirt with a simple jacket on it and his blue jeans.

Skenes has always been present during the times when Dunne required him the most, due to the mental support he can provide her with. They have been in each other’s big moments, as recently, the gymnast was present with her boyfriend while he was awarded the ROTY for his epic performance as a Pittsburgh Pirates’ pitcher. The LSU gymnast also talked about her favorite moment from Skene’s rookie season, mentioning his debut at Wrigley Field.

Dunne admitted that she wasn’t there in the stadium to watch her boyfriend throw his official career-first MLB pitch, but she admired the way he performed throughout the game. Against the Chicago Cubs at their home ground, Skenes contributed a lot to the Pirates’ victory by throwing four balls that were 100 mph or faster. The rookie also threw a 101.9 mph pitch, which was the fastest ever recorded by a Pirates player since the start of the tracking era back in 2008.

Watching them support each other in their journeys just never gets old! Furthermore, Dunne also posted another mirror selfie of herself in the gym while donning her LSU jacket. It shows how she has been completely focused on her training and is determined to end her NCAA career on a high note.

There’s only a month and a few days left for the new year. And this new number in the human calendar will bring a ton of challenges for Olivia Dunne. Such performances on the mat will be continuing until April, when the new holder of the NCAA crown will be decided.

For Dunne, whose career began back in 2014, this will be her last dance in the NCAA. She has been proud of being a part of LSU and is ready for a last dance. On this occasion, the gymnast took to Instagram, posting a picture and sending a message to her legion of followers, stating, “Last intrasquad of the fall.” She was also spotted training for the upcoming event on the balance beam. The 22-year-old has a lot to prove in her sport, and she has done it before with her skills, and this time too, her fans will be waiting for her to shine bright on the NCAA stage, one last time.
