The team U.S.A. has continued its winning streak on the mats of the 2023 Pan American Games. The gymnastics team, led by Jordan Chiles, kept the 39-year-old legacy alive by winning the sixth consecutive gold medal for the United States in Santiago, Chile. As the dust of the competition settles, it’s time to wrap up after making many happy memories apart from the podium shots.
17-year-old Zoe Miller, who has recently committed to LSU, delved into the farewell mode as she bid goodbye to the Chile soil. The athlete who secured gold at the event posted a few pictures on social media. The images have left Miller’s 31k?fans in a frenzy.
Zoe Miller to “miss” Chile

On October 29th, Zoe Miller shared a few snippets from her 2023 Pan American games on Instagram. In the pictures captioned “Chile, you will be missed,” accompanied by a peace sign and a white heart emoji, the gymnast was seen posing in the back of a four-wheeler while wearing a blue tracksuit. The athlete also shared pictures of her moves on the bars as she secured gold for the United States at the event.

On October 24, Miller bagged a well-deserved gold on the Uneven bars with a score of 14.666. The athlete surpassed Brazilian legends Rebeca Andrade and Flavia Saraiva, who had to settle for the second and third positions at 14.333 and 13.752, respectively.
Prior to the win in an interview, Miller also discussed her routine in an interview. “We’ve been waking up around seven. We hope to be on the bus like an hour before practice. We practice. Hop back on the bus,” said the 17-year-old, who has been training with Jordan Chiles and Tiana Sumanasekera in Houston for the event. Apart from Miller, the hype woman of gymnastics also secured gold at the event. The 22-year-old Jordan Chiles secured the win in the team competition.

Jordan Chiles rocks at the Pan American Games
At the Pan American Games, Jordan Chiles made an extraordinary comeback. The athlete, who was faced with constant dismay and had to settle for the sixth overall position in the U.S. championships, clinched gold in the team competition. The gymnast secured 54.666, the highest all-around score, to help team U.S.A. secure 165.96 and clinch the first position. Apart from this win, Chiles also managed to secure a silver and a bronze medal in the vault and all-around events, respectively.

From Miller to Chiles, this year, team U.S.A. has certainly showcased their best performances on Chile Mats. As they wrap up their Chilean Saga, fans can only hope the gymnasts to continue with their form as they pave their way to strike their magic on the soil of Pais next year.
