She returned to the mats after a two-year hiatus and broke the records held by Larisa Latynina and Vitaly Scherbo while leading the U.S. women’s team in Antwerp. Screams of excitement met Biles as she entered Sportspaleis, marking the beginning of her victorious evening. However, in response to a question on her best non-gymnastics memory from Belgium, Biles went back to her early years and the food restrictions. She said, ?Back then, it was a little bit more strict. So we weren?t allowed to eat that stuff.? At 16, she showed immense self-control being a fresh face on the global mats although taking four medals. She’s back and stronger than ever, defying all limitations and sometimes even taking cheat breaks! When asked what was something she truly keeps close to her heart, her answer delighted even the Antwerp host.
