She returned to the mats after a two-year hiatus and broke the records held by Larisa Latynina and Vitaly Scherbo while leading the U.S. women’s team in Antwerp. Screams of excitement met Biles as she entered Sportspaleis, marking the beginning of her victorious evening. Stepping on the podium in five of six events, she said, “It still proves to myself and other people that I can do it.”?
